Art Exhibition on the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Shenzhen Special Zone
And the first Shenzhen Contemporary Art Biennale -- main exhibition hall of Shenzhen University
Shenzhen, one of the most powerful and competitive cities in the world, as the earliest experimental field of China's reform and opening up, its urban development and economic development have been constantly surprising from the very beginning. The holding of this exhibition gives this young and energetic city the opportunity to show itself to the public in the name of art.
As one of the key cultural and art activities for the 35th anniversary of Shenzhen's founding, the exhibition will display hundreds of works of art and project practice of different types and media, including paintings, sculptures, images, music, architectural design and graphic design works, as well as current performances and public art projects. This is the first time that Shenzhen has hosted contemporary art under the leadership of the government The Biennale will also be followed by a significant bibliography.
From this, we can see Shenzhen's own vitality and innovation, inclusiveness and progress, and integration of Chinese and western social practice methods and attitudes; and try to comb out the unique cultural development context of Shenzhen, showing the value of Shenzhen in addition to economic values: inward combing is to find cultural identity and sense of belonging, while outward speaking is to hope for cultural output and urban spirit.
