Born in Qinghai, Wen Zhenfei is a member of the China Artists Association, Vice Chairman of the  Shenzhen Artists Association, Vice President of the Contemporary Institute of China Freehand Oil Painting (Beijing), and a First-Class Artist. He holds an MFA from the Russian State Pedagogical University and serves as an expert reviewer for the National Art Fund. He is also a visiting professor at the School of Arts, Shenzhen University.

He has held more than ten solo exhibitions at professional art museums, including the National Art Museum of China. His works have repeatedly participated in national and provincial art exhibitions and have been published in national-level art journals. Some of his works are held in the collections of professional art museums, institutions, and private collectors.
