Yuan Xiao was born in 1993, and she currently lives and works in Chongqing. She earned an MA from Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton, UK in 2016 and a BA from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2015. She primarily works in painting and installation, focusing on the relationships between nature and healing, production and consumption, and old materials and individual experience.
