1982年生于广东阳江。2011年毕业于广州美术学院，获硕士学位。2015年至今任教于广州美术学院绘画艺术基础部。

莫希亮的艺术实践以绘画为主，经由现实批判到语言与形式的协商。他近年的绘画尝试处理这样一种交叠映照：焦灼与幻灭，或不可描述。他善于以极度荒诞和主观的嫁接，将社会事件或者说更加广义的现实图景建立与个体经验的感性勾连，并以绘画作为记忆与情绪的出口。早前画面中裹卷的激烈、悲怆、沉溺已然让位于更加富于诗性的悲悯和哀思，戏拟现实的批判之笔，也在对光、色与物像的形式研究中，照见微物之神。

Mo Xiliang (b.1982, Yang jiang, Guangdong Province, Chian) currently lives in Guangzhou. He graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and now work in Guangzhou Academy of Fine as a teacher. 

His main way of practice is painting that through reality criticism to the negotiation of language and form. A kind of overlapping reflection, anxiety and disillusionment, or indescribable, reflected in his attempts and handling methods in paintings in recent years. The fierceness, sorrow and indulgence in the early pictures have given way to more a poetic sorrow and grief, and his critique of reality highlights 'the god of small things', in the form study of light, color and image.
